The Clearwire Difference
Clearwire service eliminates the confines of traditional cable or
telephone wiring, allowing customers to connect at home, a local
coffeehouse, the office or virtually anywhere else in the Clearwire
service area. Clearwire's next-generation, non-line-of-sight wireless
broadband network solution connects customers through licensed or
secured spectrum. Radio signals are transmitted from a tower to a
small, wireless modem or pc card, which easily connects a user's
computer to the Internet. With its simple off-the-shelf installation
customers can be on the Internet within minutes of set up.
In addition to wireless broadband Internet access, Clearwire also
offers Internet phone service. Clearwire Internet Phone Service works
with a customer's existing high-speed Internet access and provides
unlimited local and long-distance calling from a regular telephone.
Rochester customers can dial family and friends in all 50 states,
Canada and Puerto Rico.
Clearwire is an ideal solution for anyone in search of portable
high-speed Internet service that is simple to use and reliable. Simply
purchase a modem or a pc card at a local retailer including the
Clearwire store and kiosk locations at 100 Meridian Center, Eastview
Mall or Greece Ridge Center, Best Buy, Circuit City or online at
